in employment exchange if he wishes to get employment in any state government
job in Uttarakhand.
Gone are the days when you used to stand in a queue in order
to enroll yourself on employment office or exchange. Now you can register your
name on employment office from your home.
Government has launched e-District project, under which
every employment office in Uttarakhand is connected to internet for online
registration. Now you can register your name either from your home or by
visiting your nearest Adhar Centre/CSC.
If you want to register yourself from your own computer in
your home then you may require a scanner because it asks for your scanned
document to upload on the website. So, if you have a working scanner with you
then you can easily register your name on employment office from your home.
But in case you don’t have a scanner with you, then you can
simply visit your nearest Adhar centre/csc. They will do the rest of the job
for you. Make sure you carry the necessary documents with you.

Q. Is it compulsory to register on employment exchange?
A. It is compulsory if you are preparing to get employment in
state government job. However, you may not require this registration in any
central government jobs, bank jobs etc.
Q. My registration got expired 4 months back. Can I renew my
registration?
A. No, you can’t renew you registration because it crossed
the limit of 3 months. You can renew registration only within the 3 months of
the expiry date. So, in your case you need to initiate a fresh application.
Q. What are the charges of registration in Aadhar
centre/CSC?
A. It may vary from center to center, but normally it should
not exceed Rs. 120.
