Recently in the month of August 2017, Uttarakhand government had announced the jobs in forest department. But for the time being, this recruitment has been postponed. Forest minister Harak Singh Rawat said that the recruitment will not be conducted till some changes be made in the eligibility criteria.
Actually, the eligibility criteria is the main reason behind this postponing of recruitment. Because the previous government had made 12th with Science stream as a compulsory subject. And the age criteria was also very low. Majority of the candidates were not happy with this eligibility criteria. Because they were not eligible for the post either in age or in educational qualification.
Now, recently in a meeting forest minister Harak Singh Rawat said that they will make some changes in the eligibility criteria( both age and education qualification). This recruitment will only be resume when the government will relax the eligibility criteria, so that more candidates get the opportunity to apply for this post.
So, this is a good news for those candidates who were not eligible earlier. Now after some changes in the eligibility criteria, they may get a chance to apply for this post.
Those who have already filled the form and paid the fees need not to worry about anything. The exam is definitely going to conduct in near future. Hope you will continue your preparation. All the best. ✌
